Inhalte: The participants discuss problems of biodiversity and ecosystems research, based on contemporary papers.

Methoden: Guided preparation, presentations using contemporary media, discussion.

Ziele: Following the ductus of the chosen manuscripts, students deal with the methodological aspects of the paper, explain field and laboratory techniques and interprete the data and hypothesis testing. Furthermore, the participants practice the handling of "scientific English" and train presentation and discussion skills.

Art der Leistungskontrolle: Attendance control, oral presentation of the chosen papers, participation in discussions.
